Streamlining the ordering process begins with the order guide. We provide up-to-date guides once per quarter to all of our accounts free-of-charge. The order guide is presented by NACS categories, contains helpful new product summaries and current item rankings, and is 100% scannable by the equipment we provide your store.
Ordering Equipment
Capitol Distributing provides Cipher Labs ordering equipment to all of its customers, free of charge. You can place your order simply by scanning bar codes – from our order guide, retail shelf tags, or the item UPC on the product! The entire order is transmitted automatically via telephone.
In addition to the Cipher Lab orders, Capitol Distributing also has the ability to receive electronic purchase orders from specific back office systems. Please contact us for more information on this!
Customized Invoices
Capitol Distributing has the ability to customize your invoices to sort how you want to see them. Regardless of their format, our invoices are easy-to-read. Categories are divided and subtotaled so you can quickly compare purchases of different brands within each category. Invoices also include gross margins and the suggested retail unit prices for each brand for hassle-free management of pricing and profit. A summary at the end of your invoice totals your purchases by category and allows you to make quick comparisons. The categories most frequently used on our current customers invoices include the following:
- Invoice by National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS) categories
- Invoice by Tote (sorted and subdivided by the totes you receive for easy check-in at delivery)
- Invoice by Alphabetical
- Invoice by Retailer Customized Categories (you set the parameters and we can quickly build our invoices to suit your needs)
Electronic Invoicing
Capitol Distributing offers our customers the convenience of electronic invoicing. E-invoicing allows you another billing method from Capitol in addition to paper invoices. You can select the delivery method that better suits you company’s needs for optimal management and processing of incoming invoices.
Capitol Distributing supports a number of c-store back office system providers and a variety of digital formats for electronic invoicing. The E-invoices will be emailed to you on the same day as you receive your delivery.
