With thousands of new products introduced every year, how do you know what to sell? We have formed partnership agreements with the industry’s key suppliers to ensure we focus on the right mix of products. Our solutions include managed plan-o-grams, frequent advertising, innovative rack offerings, flexible foodservice offerings, and successful shows such as our annual Retailer Forum and Trade Show.

We offer free placement of multi-supplier/vendor (MVE) racks and new item racks. MVE racks will increase your margins on your most popular snacks. With our new item rack program, new items from the top candy/snack manufacturers are automatically shipped to your store each quarter, keeping you a few steps ahead of the competition.

We have also implemented a successful sampling program for our customers. Every time new items come into the marketplace, we bundle them together and send them out to each of our customers so they can get a first look and taste at the newest items hitting the store shelves.

Our foodservice programs are designed with simplicity and flexibility in mind, so you can offer the products your specific marketplace demands. We offer a coffee program designed specifically for Capitol Distributing, frozen beverage programs, fresh sandwich lines, pastries, roller grill products, and other heat-and-serve and prepared food items.

Merchandising Resets

Once a store layout and schematics have been chosen, we have the ability to bring in a very skilled team of professionals to help get your store set to the chosen layout. The schematics will display the products in the most optimal way for your customers. We will work closely with you to increase your stores potential by offering your customers the most up-to-date products set out in an easy to find format on your store shelves. We also have the ability to update the schematics in your stores at least annually to ensure that you are carrying the most popular/newest items available.

Category Management Capitol Distributing has formed partnership agreements with the industry's key suppliers to ensure we focus on the right mix of products. Our solutions include managed plan-o-grams, frequent advertising, innovative rack offerings, flexible foodservice offerings, and a successful trade show. We work closely with our vendors to develop and maintain schematics/plan-o-grams for many different store layouts. Our sales representatives are equipped with portable shelf tag printers, and they can print new retail tags with your customized retail pricing on the spot. In addition, a Capitol Distributing team is available to perform free schematic resets at least annually.
